Ponza and Palmarola, of volcanic origin, are part of the archipelago of the Pontine Islands. the distance between the two islands is about 10km
the island of Palmarola is a nature reserve and, thanks to its pristine look, and the variety of its coastline is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the world. inhabited only in summer, becomes a place of retreat for ponzesi that, escaping the chaotic Ponza, take refuge in the cave houses, typical dwellings carved into the rock.
In addition to the cave houses the only buildings on the island meet in Cala del Porto, the only port of Palmarola here we find two small restaurants and the house of Fendi sisters

from the ports of Formia and Terracina, by ferry or hydrofoil you can reach Ponza and from this, with the fishing boats or inflatable to arrive on the beautiful island of Palmarola
